Cati & Matt met online and had been talking for a few weeks before meeting for the first time at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC.
Conversation was so easy as they talked about everything from law school, sports and while looking at the art hung on the walls in the museum, who frames each painting and why they chose that specific frame. Not many couples can talk about frames with such excitement – that’s how you know you found someone who matches your soul!
Little did Cati know, this museum would hold a special spot in their lives as a couple – it’s also the same place where Matt proposed to her!
Cati loves Matt’s humor and his work ethic. Matt calls Cati his boo and loves her smile and patience. These two were so sweet to each other and cuddled and kissed with so much love for one another – it really was magical just being in their presence.
It was only right that we shot the first half of their engagement session where these two met and propsed – at the National Portrait Gallery followed by a beautiful stroll at Meridian Hill Park.
