I’m here to help! These classes will be laid back, easy to understand with no technical jargon and full of tips as we cover the main dials and buttons on your camera and how they are used to create the perfect image! Learning your camera can be intimidating but it doesn’t have to be with someone by your side helping you understand this great tool that documents your life and adventures!
You will learn the basics of:
- Camera modes – Aperture Priority (AP), Shutter Priority (TV), Manual
- ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed and how to expose correctly in AP, TV, & Manual Mode
- Focusing
- 45 minute photo walk/possible use of a model to practice what was learned
Group Classes – $65/per person
- Minimum of 2 people and no more than 6 people to allow everyone the time and attention needed for questions and answers. This class is great for mom’s groups or friend’s outing! If minimum headcount is not attained prior to 2 days before class, class will be cancelled and funds will be refunded
- Date & Time: Flexible based on availability of both parties
- Location: Lorton/Occoquan, VA area (exact location will be provided in registration email)
- First 45 minutes focused on camera basics in a group setting, 45 minutes for hands on practice with questions and answers throughout.
- Camera & lens rental available for an additional $15 (Canon T2i or Canon 6D + lens)
One on One Classes – $125 for one person
- Flexible dates/times based on availability of both parties
- Flexible location within 20 miles of Fairfax Station, VA or small travel fee may apply
- 1.5 hours of undivided attention
- First 45 minutes focused on camera basics, 45 minutes for hands on practice with questions and answers throughout.
- Camera & lens rental available for an additional $15 (Canon T2i or Canon 6D + lens)
